Motivational Assembly

This assembly marked the start of the formation of Cancer Teams headed by the teaching staff. With just twelve days until Cancer Drive Night, students received encouragement and motivation from a collection of community supporters: The Sudbury Wolves, Tannys Laughren and Vicky Wilton from the Northern Cancer Foundation, Julie Proulx, and Pina Cotesta.

Lockerby Composite and MacLeod Public students raised $44,500.00 for local children with cancer! All funds were donated to the Northern Cancer Foundation’s Paediatric Unit. The legacy of kids caring for kids continues in the Lockerby tradition of caring and school spirit.
